![]() Now, there are times I won't use blue tape. I have had double sided tape that I wanted to scream at between getting the backing paper off and peeling the items apart. I've never had glue seep out from the edges (I use thicker CA and activator). I am never left with residue on the wood. Glued blue tape pulls apart or peels off readily while still providing plenty of hold (I use it for holding really thin parts while I plane them with a bench plane). Double-sided tape can be tricky because some is really sticky and some is really not, so you have to hope you ordered the right stuff (I've not had success finding it locally), or you are dealing with scraping permanently bonded tape to wood or dealing with slipping parts.
